Enter through the enchanting courtyard and into the welcoming entrance hall which leads to the ground floor bedrooms and to the kitchen. 

The kitchen, complete with Smeg oven and hob, integrated water filter, double fridge freezer and a free standing kitchen island, ideal for sipping coffee at or a glass of wine whilst chatting and cooking in the kitchen. Perfect in summer yet equally as welcoming in the winter with the central wood burning stove adding yet more ambience to the heart of the home. You'll be welcomed with a welcome hamper as well as basics that will help you settle in. The kitchen leads to an extra large scullery and laundry area with full appliances as well as to the dining room and lounge with enviable views over the lake and is adjacent to the garden room allowing the option to open the doors and make the two areas one!

The garden room is a focal point of the home, warm yet light and airy and with breathtaking views of the garden, the pool and the lake. On a winters day, snuggle up and read a book or enjoy a board game or two. In the summer, open up the doors and bring the outdoor in! Enjoy a traditional South African braai, swim in the pool or relax in the garden. For our fitter guests, swim around the lake, SUP or use the in-house canoe and explore Lake Michelle in the best possible way.  

The dining room and lounge features a picture window overlooking the lake, perfect for sitting back, relaxing and taking in the views during the day or perhaps enjoying a more formal evening followed by after dinner drinks in the lounge. If you fancy a stroll or a swim, the garden and pool can be accessed from the lounge.

The master bedroom, located on the first floor, offers a full ensuite bathroom, an extra large dressing area and air con, handy for those hot African summers. Open the doors onto the rooftop terrace to take in the lake and the beautiful sunrise when you awake. Bedroom two is also on the first floor and shares the rooftop terrace with bedroom one. Offering an en suite shower room as well as a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool and the lake, the bedroom is perfectly placed for friends or family to holiday with you at Milkwood On The Lake. Bedrooms three and four are located on the ground floor, bedroom three with patio doors to the courtyard terrace. Both bedrooms have twin beds and offer ensuite shower rooms along. All of the bedrooms offer a hairdryer, an international adaptor and toiletries to make your stay as stress free as possible.
